SERIES: A Chakra Journey for Developing Ease: therapeutically designed for those in chronic pain with Emily Wiadro – Thursday 5:15pm ET (75 min) – March 25th – April 29th
This series offers a fully integrative approach to employing the practice of yoga as a therapeutic tool. Each 75-minute session will include three distinct elements: a brief session theme presentation (10 minutes), pranayama and asana practice (35 minutes), and yoga nidra (20 minute guided meditation in savasana pose). The session themes are built upon the chakra system.
Our journey through the chakras will invite us to:
- Build a healthier relationship with our bodies
- Shift perspective so we may live more satisfying, active lifestyles
- Work with a new tool box for wellness
- Consider letting go of worn-out patterns in our lives
- Ultimately, find a pathway to more freedom from chronic suffering
The classes will be recorded and students will be asked to engage in the weekly session, even if only the yoga nidra section, at least once more during the week. Consistency and commitment are essential to receive the fullest benefit of our chakra journey together. Taking time to journal is also recommended for further deepening your experience in this 6-week series. All are welcome. The entire practice can be done seated in a chair, as needed. No experience necessary.
NOTE: Classes are 75 minutes long. This series has a cap of 25 students – enrollment is first come, first served.
