This class moves at a slower pace for students of all sizes, ages and fitness levels and is a nice class to be able to accommodate limitations. It is also a great class if you have any chronic issues such as arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, MS, cancer, etc. Less complicated poses are used to bring a deeper awareness of the body while working on flexibility, strengthening and relaxation. This class will also help you to learn to trust your body in a safe and relaxing environment. Pranayama (breathing) and mindfulness will also be taught to help build tranquility and resiliency.
