SPECIAL CLASS: Intro to Sun Salutations w/ Chanel Sledge (120 min) // SAT 1/30 1PM ET // 10AM PT


Are you looking to start your personal practice but don’t know where to begin? Or, maybe you have been practicing for a while but would like to spice up your sun salutations. This workshop is for you!

Sun Salutations are the core of most vinyasa practices and, by themselves, can be considered a complete yoga practice. They are fantastic for building heat in the body and helping to realize the breath/body connection.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Breakdown the individual poses that make up the sun salutations
  • Link the breath with the corresponding movements
  • Link the postures together to form a complete flow
  • Show ways you can modify the sun salutations for specific needs/goals

This workshop is appropriate for all levels. Bring your questions, curiosity, notebook, and an open mind. See you on the mat!

  • Ease/Intensity: Moderate – you’ll get a great workout, and still have energy after class.

Camera On Policy: 🎥 We require all students to have their camera ON for the duration of class. This is for a few reasons: for your safety, for the teacher to be able to teach clearly, and for the integrity of the class. This also ensures that our classes are a safe environment for all students!

About your teacher: Chanel is a RYT-200 certified instructor who started her yoga journey when she injured her knee and her physical therapist suggested yoga as a form of healing.  At first she thought yoga was going to just “stretching” but quickly learned about it brought far more benefits both emotionally and physically. Chanel teaches a vinyasa (flow) style class that encourages her students to try new things in a non-judgemental environment.
