Love Your Body – Yoga for Cancer Recovery with Chris Byford (55 min) // TUES 7:15PM ET / 4:15PM PT


This all-levels yoga practice will help cancer patients and survivors manage treatment side effects, reduce the risks of lymphedema, and build muscle and bone strength. Reconnect to the grace and power of your body and ease the stress on your heart and mind with a slow flow yoga practice and an intentional meditation.

  • Class Level: All Levels (suitable for beginners)
  • Ease/Intensity: Gentle to Moderate
  • Camera On Policy: 🎥 We require all students to have their camera ON for the duration of class. This is for a few reasons: for your safety, for the teacher to be able to teach clearly, and for the integrity of the class. This also ensures that our classes are a safe environment for all students!

About Your Teacher: Chris is an accomplished and awarded RYT 500, E-RYT 200, and YACEP teacher with numerous other specialized certifications for teaching to specific populations and over 3000 teaching hours in the last 8 years. He discovered his own yoga practice in 1999 and credits yoga and meditation with helping him stay healthy and grounded while fighting cancer and arthritis. Chris has been repeatedly voted as the one of the best yoga teachers in Nashville, is an ambassador for lululemon, Defiance Fuel, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and works closely with several nonprofits to bring yoga to underserved populations.
