Yoga is a wonderful way to help children exercise their bodies and minds, and helps build strength, flexibility and confidence. Kids also learn tools for concentration, relaxation and self-discipline. With all the changes that COVID has brought to our lives, this year may bring added stress, anxiety and fear for our children. In our practice together, we explore fun Yoga poses in creative, engaging, non-competitive ways, incorporating yogic games, props and music. We also practice Sun Salutations, Partner poses (sibling and parent welcome), Pranayamas and Meditation. Children learn simple mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, Yoga practices to help calm down and energize during their busy day of learning, and how to relax and cope with the changes this school year.
Camera On Policy: 🎥 We require all students to have their camera ON for the duration of class. This is for a few reasons: for your safety, for the teacher to be able to teach clearly, and for the integrity of the class. This also ensures that our classes are a safe environment for all students!
