SPECIAL CLASS: The Phoenix Rising Method – Yoga As Catalyst for Life Transformation w/ Michael Lee (180 min) // SAT 11/6 @ 11am ET / 8am PT

The Phoenix Rising Method is an approach to yoga and yoga therapy that supports profound awareness and self-compassion. It helps students:

  • Get clear about what matters in their life and what doesn’t
  • Respond rather than react to life – (present centered referencing) and spend less time regretting the past or fearing the future – (narrative referencing)
  • Dispense with old and destructive habits that no longer serve
  • Become more compassionate, aware, connected, creative, and alive.

The Method includes asana, pranayama, pratyahara, meditation, and integration, and is based on principles from Yoga Philosophy, Buddhism, Contemporary Psychology and Neuroscience, all of which have been validated by Michael’s 4 decades of personal practice and teaching.

Students will be guided in a practice and then learn about the theoretical framework and key principles upon which it is based.
