Experience a slower pace, meditative class focused on a selectively chosen number of seated postures to care for your tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues.

  • Class Level: all levels (suitable for beginners)
  • Ease/Intensity: Gentle – slow sustained movements on mat
  • Props: Blocks (books are great alternatives), firm pillow or bolster (rolled up towels are great alternatives), strap (towels, scarfs, or ties are great alternatives)

Camera On Policy: 🎥 We require all students to have their camera ON for the duration of class. This is for a few reasons: for your safety, for the teacher to be able to teach clearly, and for the integrity of the class. This also ensures that our classes are a safe environment for all students!

About Your Teacher: Dr. Yasmene Mumby began her yoga and meditation practice eleven years ago while teaching middle school Social Studies in Baltimore City Public Schools while looking for a natural way to calm her rushing anxiety and restore her energy. She has completed over 800 hours of training in vinyasa, meditation, yin, and prenatal yoga. Off the mat, Yasmene is an essayist, organizer, and audiodocumentarian. In May 2020, she earned her doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
