DROP IN ONLY: Yoga Nidra (30 min) with Claudia // TUES 8PM ET / 5PM PT
Yoga Nidra is a series of mindful meditation techniques structured in such a way to bring our brainwaves from the awake state, deeper beyond dream and deep sleep, where both brain and body naturally reach their highest restorative states. Yoga Nidra supports the development of a more resilient brain as we manage challenges and life stressors.
This is a 50 min All Levels practice accessible to everyone regardless of age, physical shape or fitness level. No physical movement involved. Students can rest on their back, or on their side, or even seated with back support, using blankets, a thin pillow under the head, a bolster under their knees, and whatever else they may choose to make themselves supremely comfortable throughout practice. Loose and comfortable clothes (i.e. sweats) are recommended for ultimate relaxation.

About Your Teacher: Claudia is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and a 200hr YTT graduate from VEToga, a local non-profit organization with a mission to bring yoga and meditation to veterans, first-responders and their families at no cost to them. Additionally, she has completed a trauma-informed yoga training program through Prison Yoga Project specifically designed to teach yoga to trauma affected populations, and has completed the Professional Yoga Nidra certification with the Integrative Amrit Yoga Nidra Method. Claudia considers herself a life-long student of yoga and her main goal is to share an accessible and healing yoga practice with local firefighters, veterans and active duty military and their families at no cost to them.
