The word vinyasa comes from Sanskrit meaning “to place in a creative or special way.” You will explore mindful movement patterns with an emphasis on intentional and controlled actions. Typically, the class will build into fluid movements, and perhaps more challenging postures, using the breath as a guide and focal point for the practice. Our teachers are uniquely trained to offer modifications, placing more importance on molding postures to fit your body rather than the other way around. All levels are welcome.

Props: Ideally 2 blocks (books or cans could work as an alternative), a bolster, strap, and blanket (couch pillows, belts or neck ties and towels are great substitutes)
