Yin Yoga classes are quiet, meditative practices with long, deep posture holds. This class uses mindful relaxation within each posture to target the body’s connective tissue and promote the mobilization of fascia while increasing circulation and flexibility, while setting a calm ambiance. Yin yoga can peel away layers of stress, injury and tension that reside within. This practice can be tailored to each unique practitioner with the use of props, modified shapes, and mindfulness.

Ease/Intensity: Passive, meditative, long holds
Props: Ideally 2 blocks (books or cans could work as an alternative), a bolster, and 1 or 2 blankets (couch pillows, belts or neck ties and towels are great substitutes)
